Wii Bowling Nights

Recently we upgraded our gaming set and brought in a PS3 slim, a Wii, an XBox360, a Gaming Wheel and a Guitar Hero World Tour set for PS3. But of all of those, the Wii has had the most impact to Crew A. It created a surge in new gamers, leading to late late nights full of laughs! Just about everyone of all ages has joined in, leading to decision to hold a slew of tournaments!

The first was the King of Champion 7 Tournament featuring Tekken 6 on the PS3. I'll detail that tournament in another post. The 2nd, which is still running, is the Wii Bowling Tournament. Reception to this has been incredible! We have at last count 24 teams participating, with 2 players per team, for a total of 48 gamers for this tournament alone! That's huge for a group that originally had only 10 or so members!

If i ever figure out a way to put the spreadsheet live online like our livelink i'll put it up.

Unbelievably someone managed to get 11 strikes in a row! An almost perfect game of 290, with only a spare in the 1st throw spoiling it. But still a fantastic feat. And that someone is.......

2010 - New Beginning

As of last night, 10/02/10, the role of HLP Chairperson for CP7 Crew A has been handed over from Pg Fendy to Dk Sapiah. May this blog be updated much more often under the new management.

Hari Raya!!!

Selamat hari raya aidilfitri mulia, maaf maaf ahh di bulan yang mulia ini..... On Sunday 19/10 we celebrated hari raya on the platform, in a BIG way!! i'm very happy to see that everyone enjoyed themselves! i've heard it's actually the first time we've done it the way we did, by dividing ourselves by disciplines and competing! i was blown away by the creativity of our own guys, who first started by making small stalls with small decorations, then fully covered with kain, then in the end a stonking CANNON!??!! frigging awesome.. n the competition fought back by making gates out of light boxes, decorative roof out of pvc and aluminium... super festive spirit!! hehe

we started with a doa, followed by some words from representatives from each team. i have to say sorry to the guys who had to wait till we officially opened, they must've been starving since we had our heavy breakfast at 9am! after a bit of fuel, we walked to each stall and started interviewing the 'hosts'!

of course it wouldn't be just quiet! the committee planned some games to keep things lively. the first game, the guessing game was loud and damn fun! it was simple. we pick a guy from each discipline and got them to act or describe something raya related and alll the others had to guess!

Chinese costume partyyyyy~

This was supposed to be a party where everyone would dress up in chinese themed outfits and we'd pick a winner from the best couple. it was evil, but not evil enough. so our team of scheming party planners decided to take it up a notch and spring a surprise on August birthday celebrants! heheh, weren't they shocked........... especially after they saw what we would dress them up like!~......
