HMSF hosts badminton friendly

HM HMSF and CP-7 badminton players. - HAZMAN HMHis Majesty Sultan's Flight last night hosted a friendly match for a visiting badminton team, CP-7, from Brunei Shell Petroleum at the HMSF sports hall. Leading the HMSF team was the HMSF Director, YAM Pengiran Ratna Wijaya Brigadier General (B) Pengiran Haji Hasnan bin Pengiran Ahmad. BSP's CP-7 was led by Hj Mohamad bin Hj Mohd Ali, Senior Operation Supervisor EAST Asset Unit. The friendly match aimed at bettering relationship whilst creating awareness to live a healthy lifestyle. It is a continuing programme for the Cp 7 Badminton team to strengthen ties among the players and to manage the team activities. The friendly match ended with an exchange of souvenirs and a group photo session.(courtesy of Borneo Bulletin)

CP7 COMMUNITY NITE (Gawai Nite)
On the evening of 5th June 2010, the CP7 Welfare Committee has put on another exciting event for the crew. We called it ‘Cp7 Community Nite’.
Ms Salawati Kassim, the Cp7’s O.I.M kicked off the event by delivering a speech. Thanking to the Cp7 Welfare Chairperson, the lovely Ms Dk Sapiah or popularly known as DKS as well to all the committee members on organizing this event. She then greeted ‘Selamat Hari Gawai’ to those who celebrate it.
Afterwards, Achan, one of our free spirited Helicopter Landing deck crew was called up to say a few words on this special event. He thanked the Cp7 Welfare team for organizing this event as it helps to ease their sadness for being unable to celebrate with their own families onshore due to work commitment here at Cp7.
With Mr. Pg Fendy being the m.c. for the bingo round, the nite was filled up with laughter & joy. He kept the crowd pleased with his usual antics while the beautiful Ms Umi & Ms Juraini carried out rolling out the lucky numbers of bingo.
The first lucky winner was Mr Bolhassan.
After the first round of bingo, Ms Noryani, the elegant cp7 welfare’s secretary belted out a song to entertain the crowd. She wooed the crowd with her beautiful voice.
The next m.c.was the stunning Event Manager, Ms Zurianna who continued the bingo round again of which the next lucky winner was one of the Cp7’s awesome gentlemen Mr. Abdrin.
The last round of bingo was again rolled out of which the winner was the ‘mulut murai’ gentleman, Mr. Ruhaifi who had been keeping the crowd filled up laughter as well.
The night’s event is closed out with an awesome performance of the cp7’s own PS3’s rock band members, Mr. Ehfan, Mr.Aming, Mr. Roy Jinni & Mr. Pg Fendy who played a few hits songs of the PS3’s rock band game.

CP7 HLP ACTIVITY

On the 24th April, the personnel of Champion 7 gathered at Tutong sports complex as early as 0630hrs. The event was a badminton tournament. The event was officiated by CP7 OIM Maz Adanan Abdullah. He stressed the importance of the personnel to maintain a healthy lifestyle through sports, healthy diet & spiritual.
He also added that he hoped through this sport event the personnel will have better team work while maintaining a harmony working relationship in offshore. He then congratulated the CP7 Welfare Committee for organizing this event. The team groups were divided into names of the gas turbines, GT 1 to GT 4. In each group, there were an even mix of regular players and first time players who just held a badminton racquet. One of the team even prepared their own cheerleaders complete with the pom pom.
The event was full of fun and at the same time the crew enjoyed the good workout.
Towards the end of the event, OIM, Salawati Kassim consented to present the prizes to the winners of the tournament.
It was also highlighted that the CP7 Welfare Committee will continue to organize these HLP activities in offshore as well during the onshore break. This is to ensure the personnel of Champion 7 will always be in good health.

WE ARE THE CHAMPION!!!
Our team won with a stunning freekick from AWB and Ameng'Drogba' fired a brilliant winner (walaupun kasut barunya basar) hehe.
Brilliant saves by TripleK,his size and agility have made him hard to beat, at times, impenetrable.
Not to forget the hardworking midfielder and the physical and combative defenders. The most important guy is the cameraman~ hahaha. Man of the match is Armie for supporting all day long. Keep it up guys. Here are some actions from the game..

Wii Bowling Nights
Recently we upgraded our gaming set and brought in a PS3 slim, a Wii, an XBox360, a Gaming Wheel and a Guitar Hero World Tour set for PS3. But of all of those, the Wii has had the most impact to Crew A. It created a surge in new gamers, leading to late late nights full of laughs! Just about everyone of all ages has joined in, leading to decision to hold a slew of tournaments!
The first was the King of Champion 7 Tournament featuring Tekken 6 on the PS3. I'll detail that tournament in another post. The 2nd, which is still running, is the Wii Bowling Tournament. Reception to this has been incredible! We have at last count 24 teams participating, with 2 players per team, for a total of 48 gamers for this tournament alone! That's huge for a group that originally had only 10 or so members!
If i ever figure out a way to put the spreadsheet live online like our livelink i'll put it up.
Unbelievably someone managed to get 11 strikes in a row! An almost perfect game of 290, with only a spare in the 1st throw spoiling it. But still a fantastic feat. And that someone is.......

2010 - New Beginning
As of last night, 10/02/10, the role of HLP Chairperson for CP7 Crew A has been handed over from Pg Fendy to Dk Sapiah. May this blog be updated much more often under the new management.
